Camera Eye Workshops provide an exceptional educational experience in a non-academic setting. Teachers are working artists as well as professors in the field. Classes include critiques conducted by the instructor and visiting guest artists, as well as field trips to local artist studios, galleries or museums. While classes focus on student’s growth in their work, we also introduce aspects of the history of photography and contemporary practice.

Camera Eye classes are for all those interested in taking their photography to another level (from beginners to advanced professional projects). Explore, be creative, develop your visual talents and become part of the experience.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT THE CAMERA EYE WORKSHOPS -

ADVANCED + PROFESSIONALS

I just took an advanced Camera Eye workshop and was blown out of the water. I have never learned so much or advanced so far in one course. The professor I had has a knowledge of photography as an art form that by far surpasses that of anyone I know. She also had a very keen eye for areas to work on. Her comments helped me see photos in a very new way.

BEGINNERS

I recently took a class through the Camera Eye Photography Workshops, and I highly recommend the workshops to anyone interested in photography. Most of us students were working professionals with no previous training in photography, and we learned a lot in this hands-on workshop without being overwhelmed. I’ve also gained the confidence to be creative and take photography more seriously than I have before, and I’m having a lot of fun as well!

I took a class at the Camera Eye Photography Workshops and learned a lot . The teacher was great and encouraged me as a total beginner. I’m in love with my camera  and can’t wait for the next class to begin. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to learn without enrolling in a photography school for the 4 years.
