Angela Mittiga is a photographer and educator based in Somerville, Massachusetts. Her work has been shown at The Photographic Resource Center at Boston University, Harvard University, the Art Institute of Boston, and Massachusetts College of Art.  As a graduate student, Angela specialized in research on education through art, with an emphasis on object-based learning, contemporary art and cognitive psychology. In 2010 she served as the project manager and book designer for 20UNDER40: Re-Inventing the Arts and Art Education for the 21st Century. In addition to her work as a photographer, Angela has been teaching courses in photography and visual literacy for undergraduates and youth since 2004.

DANA MUELLER

Dana Mueller is an Adjunct Professor in photography and art history at the Art Institute of Boston. She received her MFA in Photography from the Massachusetts College of Art + Design. Her work has addressed exile, German identity, memory, history and landscape. As part of her current project, Devil’s Den, Mueller has photographed sites related to the WWII German Prisoner-of-War experience in the US. Mueller is the recipient of 2010, 09 + 08 Faculty Development Grants, the Art Institute of Boston, the 2008 Next Perspective 2nd Place – HotShoe International, UK, the 2007 St. Botolph Club Foundation Grant and her work has been exhibited at Rick Wester Fine Art, NY, Women in Photography | Humble Arts Foundation, NY, the Photographic Resource Center, Boston, MA, the Massachusetts College of Art + Design, Boston, MA, the Art Institute of Boston, MA, St. Botolph Club, Boston, MA, Bridge ARTFair, Miami, FL, North East Space, New Haven, CT, among others. Recent publications include Artscope | New England Art Magazine, One, One Thousand | A Publication of Southern Photography, Conscientious and The New York Photo Review, among others.

Ken Richardson is the founder of Ken Richardson Photography and has spent the last 10 years freelancing, showing photographs and teaching photography. BONNELL ROBINSON

Bonnell Robinson is a curator, photographer, and professor of photography and art history at the Art Institute of Boston where she is Director of Exhibitions as well as a member of the faculty.  She has worked with photographers and artists from all media in her capacity as a curator.  Exhibitions of note include photographers Duane Michals, Eugene Richards, Susan Meiselas, Luis Gonzalez Palma, Alex Webb, James Nachtwey.  Other exhibitions of note include 19th Century Photography in Japan, a retrospective of expeditionary photography in Egypt 1845-1998, Felix Beato in China and Japan, MAGNUM Photographers in War, and Contemporary Cuban Art 1985-2000. Her own photographs have been shown at Addision Gallery of American Art,  Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University, Rhode Island School of Design, Smithsonian Institution, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Irish Architectural Archives, Museum of Contemporary Art in Caracas (Venezuela). Robinson has taught undergraduate and graduate photography at Mass Art, RISD, BU (photographic history), and Brandeis. She has also taught at the Maine Photo Workshops. She recently curating a show of Joel Meyrowitz’s work at AIB.

CHRIS SANCHEZ

B.F.A. Photography | The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University

Chris Sanchez is a commercial photographer working in and around the New England area, as well as teaching locally in Boston. For the last 5 years commercial work has taken him from London, New York, Venice, and locations all over the U.S. While in Boston, Chris teaches several classes at the Art Institute of Boston’s pre college program. Working in classic mediums such as wet plate collodion, ziatypes, and platinum printing, Chris looks to bridge the gap from traditional methods using digital tools.

TARA SELLIOS

Tara Sellios is an artist working in large format color photography. She received her BFA in photography with a minor in art history from The Art Institute of Boston and currently lives and works in Somerville, MA. Sellios’ recent exhibitions include Of Gods and Monsters (online auction), Daniel Cooney Fine Art, NY, Direct Objects: Still Life as Subject, Photoplace Gallery, Middlebury, VT, Class Pictures, Michael Mazzeo Gallery, New York, NY, Taking In: The Best of AIB Photography, Laconia Gallery, Boston, MA, among others. Her work was published in In the Loupe, Photographic Resource Center, Boston and awards include a 2011 MCC Grant, Boston, MA, the 2011 Griffin Award, Griffin Museum of Photography, Winchester, MA, the 2010 Purchase Prize, BFA Exhibition Competition (juried by Joseph Carroll) and the 2008  Grand Prize Winner, Annual Portfolio Scholarship Competition, The Art Institute of Boston, Boston, MA. Tara has taught at the Art Institute of Boston’s and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts’ summer programs.

PARIS VISONE

B.F.A. Photography | The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University

Paris Visone is a documentary photographer based out of Boston. She graduated from the Art Institute of Boston where she currently teaches. Paris was chosen as a 2010 Getty Images Editorial Photography Grant recipient for her series Gender Roles and Appearance. She recently finished touring with and photographing the legendary punk/new wave band, Blondie. Visone is best known for her ever continuing documentary work on her family and friends. She has been featured in multiple publications including AMP magazine, F-stop Magazine, and Performer Magazine. Recent exhibitions include her solo show Culture of Looking at Suffolk Gallery, Boston, MA. Her work has been exhibited at The Photographic Resource Center, Boston, MA, Laconia Gallery, Boston, MA, and Atrium Gallery, Cambridge, MA, among others.
